Software Developer, Systems Software - (work in Novi, MI & various unanticipated locations throughout U.S. / multiple openings)

- Research, design, develop and test operating systems-level, compilers and network distribution for business applications, applying principles of engineering; utilize field's concepts, practices and procedures; rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals; perform complex tasks; report directly to a project lead or manager; and use Oracle Universal Installer and SQL. Requires Master's in Computer Science or Mechanical Engineering or its foreign educational equivalent or its equivalent in education and experience plus 36 months experience in the job offered or 36 months experience in an alternate occupation as a Database Administrator, Senior Database Administrator, Consultant, Senior Consultant, Systems Engineer, Technical Consultant-Technical or Project Engineer. Will accept a bachelor’s degree, or a foreign equivalent degree, followed by at least 5 years of progressive experience in the specialty, in lieu of the required education and experience. Will also accept any equally suitable combination of education, training and/or experience which would qualify an applicant to perform the duties of the job offered. Travel/relocation to various unanticipated work locations throughout U.S. required.
